Assignment 11
A lot of my paper
was kind of confusing to follow and the transitions from paragraph to paragraph
were not smooth. I ended up switching my topic in the middle of writing my
paper so we came up in discussion with my small group that after figuring out
my topic question exactly it may be easier to put together my paper. I have a
lot of good ideas and found a lot of good things to back up my topic I just
need to explain more with some more examples. We also noticed that things that
were written about women being violent towards men caught a lot of peoples eye
and drew them into my paper. I only had a few short paragraphs on it so I need
to find some more things on men.
Part 2
My main purpose is
violent relationships between a significant other. Its important to have your main
purpose because though out your entire paper you need to go back to that and
writ about it. I used a lot of ebscohost sources that gave me a lot of detail
about women being abused and the statistics on men and women. I found a few
sources on men being abused also. I’m going to stick with the library web
because it gives you so many options and im going to look more into the men’s
side on things. I think its important to have both sides and especially the men’s
side because women are always looked at as being abused but when a man is
abused it comes as a shock to a lot of people. I used the sources I found as a
back up of things I have said but also some sources I found I had no idea about
the statistics they said so I put them in my paper and explain them and how
interesting they are because a lot of them are very unknown.
